Corvent Appoints Senior Director of Sales to Burgeoning Unified Communications Consulting Practice

Increased business results in several new hires for
Corvent’s Unified Communications Consulting and
Web Conferencing Event Solutions practices

Portland, Ore. — September 20, 2006 — Corvent, LLC, a premier provider of unified communications consulting services and web seminar event services, registration and reporting tools, today announced it has added several new employees to its growing roster of web conferencing and unified communications professionals.

Mike Weber, formerly of MCI/VerizonBusiness, has joined Corvent in the role of Senior Director of Sales, Consulting, overseeing Corvent’s Unified Communications Consulting strategy as well as Corvent’s relationship with Microsoft’s Unified Communications Group.

While at MCI/VerizonBusiness, Mike led the global sales of Web Conferencing, increasing revenues from just $5M in 2002 to over $31M in 2005. He was instrumental in both integrating the sale of collaboration services into existing accounts and the subsequent expansion of new sales within Verizon’s global account base. Mike has previously held Marketing, Business Development and Sales roles at PlaceWare and Hewlett Packard.

Sean Spradling joins Corvent in the role of Senior Business Consultant. Spradling previously served as a Senior Product Manager at Premiere Global Services and has in-depth knowledge of the conferencing industry. Sean graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in International Business.

Corvent has also named Kim Harrison as Account Manager for its direct Web Seminar sales. Kim will play a key role in establishing new accounts as well as nurturing relationships with existing clients. Kim has a background in the technology industry with proven abilities in fostering relationships, driving direct sales and exceeding strategic growth objectives.

In addition to Mike, Sean, and Kim, Corvent has also added new Event Managers and Trainers to its Event Management and Consulting teams.
